Amazing 2 Years
I moved into this property while it was still called “The Liv” and even though the name changed the quality of the complex ... didn’t drop. The management at this property, Jen specifically, was always ready to help with whatever issues I brought to her table. I’ve lived here for the last 2 years and would’ve resigned my lease if I didn’t have to move to Texas. I moved into the Gem Apartment complex in February of 2025. IlThis apartment complex was the first & ONLY apartments I looked ... it, I knew right away that I wanted to live here! Brooke (an amazing leasing agent) gave me a building tour and she absolutely SOLD it! She showed me everything I wanted to see and she went above and beyond for me! The staff, the amenities, the animals that you meet coming in and out of the building (I love animals so much), etc. If I ever have an issue with anything, the girls take care of it immediately. A FAILED NON-SMOKING POLICY
I chose this property because it has, what I was told, a strict no smoking policy. This is a failed policy as we smell marijuana ... (weed) every week. Most times, all the way into my apartment. I cannot stand sitting on my couch smelling weed. I've reported this rule violation 25 times just in the last 3.5 months. The management doesn't seem to do much about it. I’ve been living here for 2.5 years and regret spending as much money as i have. The guy above me has been a problem since ... the day i moved in. He is constantly STOMPING, hard running, yelling and sounds of a woman crying are consistent all day and night. The recordings I have alone are shocking management has heard many but just do not care. The walls are always shaking and I’ve suffered panic attacks many times due to the noise. I’m so completely embarrassed to invite anyone over, because guests have questioned it before as well. I have made complaints to the property manager and police SEVERAL times and nothing has changed. I feel unsafe in my apartment, and end up leaving just to find peace. There are just too many issues with this community. The gates are always broken, stairwells are rarely cleaned, and the hallways smell like trash. Last week I called the property manager crying, and she just chuckled and said she would send somebody for help. Which did not happen. I cannot wait to finally be able to move out of this apartment!!
